Retro Luxe is a personal exploration of how kitchen appliances can become lasting objects rather than temporary countertop tools. Through two distinct mixer concepts, the project examines how form, material, and visual language shape the emotional character of everyday products.
Developed through concept design, CAD modeling, and photo-realistic visualization, Retro Luxe explores how contrasting design languages can deliver distinct personalities while solving the same functional experience.
Concept 01 | Minimal Sculptural
This design concept strips away visual complexity in favor of a more architectural expression. Larger uninterrupted surfaces, simplified interfaces, and confident proportions transform the mixer into a sculptural centerpiece for the modern kitchen. The design emphasizes visual calm while maintaining the strength and utility expected from a premium countertop appliance.

Concept 02 is rooted in classic stand mixer proportions, this concept reinterprets familiar retro cues through cleaner geometry, refined transitions, and contemporary detailing. Soft radii, elevated finishes, and balanced proportions create an object that feels nostalgic without becoming decorative. The result is a mixer designed to feel timeless, approachable, and worthy of permanent display.
