Working in collaboration with Tom Hoon Enterprises, the design firm serving Mizuno Golf, my primary role was to translate the initial design concept into a detailed 3D CAD model and high-quality visualizations, while contributing design input throughout the development process.
The cart was developed for golf professionals conducting custom fittings on driving ranges, providing organized storage and convenient access to a specific assortment of club heads, shafts, and fitting accessories.
The project began with rough grease-marker drawings on a dry-erase board, essentially an elaborate napkin sketch. Using these as a starting point, I developed the 3D model, helping refine design details, proportions, and functionality along the way.
The cart's primary structure was designed for rotationally molded polyethylene (PE), providing a durable, weather-resistant solution suited for frequent use in outdoor environments.
